I told you the highlight of the day would be going christmas shopping with Lawrence....and yea it was!
We got some gifts, a "foot" for the christmas tree and a beacon! My first beacon :-) Lawrence will teach me everything about it.

Today is the day when we have our presentation of one of our group assingments. What a mess!! Not the presentation but the whole set up. So confusing. We devided our group in to pairs and we have 5 different classrooms where we're suppose to represent our group and the work we've put together.
Although we have to run back and forth to all the different classrooms right now (which we're not suppose to do). This is a mess and I don't understand what's going on, (we're on a break right now).
I can't wait to evaluate this course.... Sorry I'm being Mrs Negative but this is seriously the weirdest day ever.
The highlight of the day is going to happen later when Lawrence and I will go look for christmas gifts! I'll really enjoy that.
Allright, gotta get back to my confusing reality...our break's over.

1:a Advent..

..and the countdown for christmas begins.
There's a blizzard in Karlstad right now! Snow's flyin' and it's out of control....love it.
We cleaned out our storage today, got the dresser out since I don't have room for my clothes in the closet. We also got all our snowboarding stuff in order since we're going to Chamonix!! (in a month). Counting the days.
1:a advent is today so the first candle is lit. I cannot tell you how much I love christmas. To celebrate we had pancakes for breakfast with syrup and butter. Well, no syrup and butter for me...that's not how I roll, instead I covered my cakes in sugar...mmmm.

I just ordered the coolest snowboard boots ever! I'll show you when they get here.

Sitting under a blanket on the couch after coming back from a long and beautiful, but so cold walk with Sandra. We went to Mariebergsskogen and also got a cup of coffee and knäck! 
I've never been over there before but it was really nice!
Since christmas is coming up I got a "adventsljusstake", kitchen towels with santas printed on them and some other decoration stuff. I love December and all the christmas preparations. The next thing we'll get is a tree!
This is the first christmas I'll be celebrating with Lawrence and I'm so happy and I look forward to it so much.

Finally

I'm so ready for this week end! Had the re-do exam today and I think it went well...knock on wood...
I'm finally home after running around town getting things that I really needed, payday was yesterday so time to spend it all.

One thing you shouldn't do is to go grocery shopping on an empty stomach...I got a bunch of crappy food because I didn't know what to get and I was as hungry as I've ever been. Chips, saffran buns, peanut butter, listerine and bread. What's that?! I needed dinner.... I'll figure something out though.
 Lawrence is working tonight and I'm just gonna hang out and rest my head after a stressful week.

Happy Thanksgiving

I'm stuffed with Thanksgiving food! After a loooong day in school I came home to chicken, jams, stuffing, gravy..the whole thing. Oh so good!

December's coming up and I love it. So many things going on that month.
Karin is coming home, Sandra's birthday, one exam, 2 group presentations, Lucia, 1,2,3,4 advent and christmas!!
Now I'm gonna go enjoy my anxiety attack for tomorrows exam..I have to nail it this time!

Meeting's done and went great! I'm hanging out on the couch with face mask and Grey's Anatomy.
The meeting was with the house rights organization (I think that's what it's called) and I'm now a substitute person on the board.
Tomorrow will be a hectic but fun day. I have to be in school at 8 o'clock to study for the exam on Friday...(a re-do btw...not cool). But tomorrow night Lawrence and I are going to eat a smashing dinner!

Tuesday

I might as well just copy my update from yesterday and put it here. I'll just leave out CSI and the great lecture. I just had dinner, I have to study and Lawrence is working.

In addition I would like to say that there's snow on the ground!! Yaaaay! It's a little slippery outside though. But hey Weather, why don't you just leave out the wind? It's soooo cold.
Also, it's Thanksgiving on Thursday and I'm very excited! Lawrence and I will have our own little turkey dinner, and we have a lot to be thankful for.

Hey there

Just got done eating dinner...Lawrence is working and wont be home till later... It's so boring to be by myself..! I have to study though and when I study I need to be alone, otherwise I can't focus. The one problem I've got is that CSI Miami is visiting our house and I'm having a hard time getting rid of them.. I don't even know why I watch that stuff... You can't really take it seriously. Horatio is so clever all the time and they pretty much wear prom dresses to the crime scenes...You know what I mean?

Anyways, good day in school, had a lecture about journalism today and that was pretty interesting. I like this program more and more and it feels like I picked right.

I'm back

Bad updating..I know.
I blame it on the headache I had yesterday....let me tell you, it was unbelievable. I managed to get out of bed around two o'clock but I didn't get far. I spent the rest of the day on the couch feeling sorry for myself while Lawrence was working.

Although today is a new day and my head feels fine. Mom and dad got here Friday night, it was great seeing them! Lawrence made a delicious pasta sallad with garlic bread and for dessert I made chocolate cake..mmm.

New day!
I feel a whole lot better than yesterday and I'm happy about that. Just got done eating lunch in school and for the very first time I brought a doggy bag from yesterdays dinner, how financially smart am I? Obviously not that smart since today was the first time bringing food....
We had a great lecture this morning and now we have to hang out for 3 hours waiting for the next one, which is fine because I need to study and I need to study hard. Even if I sound bummed, I actually really like to
study and I'm glad I'm finally in college.

Good morning!

Time really flies! It feels like we just moved here and all of a sudden it's Thursday, November 18th..

Time for the time to slow down.

I'm sitting here with my coffee cup trying to wake up completely. I really have to start going to bed earlier than I do ( yes mom, you're right ).

Today our group will continue to work on our two different assingnments, hopefully we'll get it all done, that would be awesome. 

I already can't wait to get home since Lawrence has today off work and I wanna hang out with him. We're also going grocery shopping later for the 25th time this month, I think we eat way too much :-)

This morning I met up with my group for planning. We have a new assingment to work on. We need to find differences between swedish and american medias and we also have to look into one of the local news papers and do some research about them. We do have some hard work ahead of us but our group is badass so no worries at all.
Sandra came and got her cats this morning...I'm sad! I really love your cats Sandra!

The upcoming weeks are going to be intense, and the definition of Anna will from now on be the word DISCIPLINE

Sunday morning

I love Sundays...you can pretty much feel the Sunday vibe when you wake up in the morning. Another way of knowing that it's Sunday is when you turn the TV on and there's football and football only showing in our apartment. Football Sunday!!
Lawrence has to work for a couple hours but after that we're going grocery shopping for tonights Lions game and the sorrows that will most likely come with it.

Silent floor

I'm hiding from the outside world and the rain since I placed myself in the library cellar. Trying to focus and learn something. After class today this course is starting to feel a liiiiiittle better and I think something good can come out of this.

Yes, it's raining so all the snow is gone!  Not ok....
The snow got me all excited and I was in the christmas zone, although I guess being in the christmas zone is a little too early. I've already seen stars and christmas ornaments in windows and I have to say that's a big no no. Hold your horses out there :-)

Made some changes, hope you like it!
Sitting here with a very cuddly cat so I cant move. Been in school all day, we had an all-dayer today and I honestly think this new course is so confusing...at least the planning. Feels like we got everything served on a plate in the beginning (compared to this) and now I can hear a dark voice saying: "mohahaha this is what it's really like....mohaha".

Wednesday

Great day so far! The cats are having a blast and are currently hiding in their fort made out of blankets, (it started with me trying to protect the chair from claws but I failed).  Lawrence bought the new Call Of Duty and I'm playing with my computer, the kids are happy.

Snow has landed and I'm likin' it this is what it looks like outside today.
